Major Priyanka is the Co-Founder of VISOL Renewable Energy Solutions, a Solar consulting & EPC Company. All the three founding members of this company are Women. An Ex-Army Officer, She was commissioned into Corps of Engineers of the Indian Army, in Mar 2003 after completing her training from Officers Training Academy, Chennai. As Officiating Company Commander of a Bridge Company with approx. 200 soldiers, their team was capable of constructing floating bridges during operations over water obstacles. She was also deputed to Military Engineer Service (MES) as Joint Director (Architect) and Assistant Garrison Engineer.
She is a Bachelor of Architecture, has an Executive Management Certification from IIM Indore and MBA (Operations) from IMT, Ghaziabad. She is a certified Green Building consultant as IGBC AP and GRIHA CP. She is also certified in Solar Photovoltaic Technology from the Ministry of MSME and IIT Bombay.
As a Green Building Consultant she has executed projects for Indian Railways. In Oct 2018, she represented Maharashtra as a part of the state delegation of Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce, Industry, and Agriculture invited by Hon Governor of Nagaland. Learning from her own entrepreneurial journey, She is on a mission to create Self Employment in the solar sector and help Solar Enthusiasts achieve their dreams.
